With more than a decade of business advocacy, public relations and government affairs experience, Kristina Chavez Wyatt specializes in helping organizations build coalitions of support through grassroots. At Farmhouse Communications, Kristina focuses on assisting businesses in developing and executing strategic communications programs, building relationships and navigating processes of government.

Prior to forming Farmhouse Communications, Kristina was a senior account executive for the prominent national public affairs firm Meridian Pacific, Inc., as well as a senior account executive at the Central Coast public relations firm Armanasco Public Relations, Inc., where she specialized in community relations, government affairs and media relations with a primary focus on PR, public and environmental policy, agriculture, and land use.

Kristina serves as the Executive Director of the San Benito County Business Council, as Government Affairs Liaison to the Monterey Peninsula Chamber of Commerce, and provides strategic counsel to Plasco Energy Group of Ottawa Canada. She volunteers extensively throughout the region, providing pro-bono support to the Gilroy Chamber of Commerce Board as Vice Chairman of Public Affairs and to the Salinas Valley Chamber of Commerce Board as Vice Chair of Government Affairs and Community Relations. She serves on the Board of Directors of the San Benito County Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau, where she is co-chair of the Chamber’s Government Relations Committee.

Kristina was recognized as the 2009 Salinas Jaycees Outstanding Young Citizen, the 2010 Central Coast Young Farmers and Ranchers Member of the Year and the 2010 Salinas Valley Chamber of Commerce Member of the Year.

Kristina is a fifth generation Californian. A graduate of Gavilan College and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo College of Agriculture, she lives in Hollister with her husband Craig, their twin toddlers Hailey Marie and Molly Elizabeth, and dog Chico.
